Consequently, a walk through the park and its trick fountains is a fun and wet adventure. The name of this palace, which is also the location of the Sound of Music Pavilion and a charming Christmas Market every winter, literally means “Bright Fountain” – you never know what lies in store for you with the trick fountains in its extensive park, but you will certainly have a lot of fun. Markus Sittikus had a system built that astonished, entertained and befuddled his guests with water automats, grottos and fountains. This unique cultural jewel can be found nowhere else and is a truly entertaining attraction for families with children of all ages. The season runs from April through October.
